Kill the Villainess #6

Kill the Villainess is a popular webtoon adaptation of the light novel series written by Yoon Ha-wol. The narrative emerged from the growing web novel subgenre of 'isekai' villainess stories, where the protagonist is transported into a world they previously read about. This specific issue continues the series' exploration of Eris Misérian, who actively attempts to escape the tragic fate scripted for her by a celestial author, shifting the typical subgenre trope from passive survival to calculated rebellion.

The visual identity of the series is defined by the illustrative work of Ellelen. The art style is noted for its intricate, gothic-inspired fashion and a moody, cinematic color palette that reinforces the protagonist's sense of isolation and entrapment within a rigid aristocratic society. Upon its digital release and subsequent print collection, the series received significant praise from readers for its darker, more introspective tone compared to lighter romantic fantasies, establishing it as a prominent title within the D&C Webtoon Biz library.
