Kimi ga Kemono ni Naru Mae ni #3

Kimi ga Kemono ni Naru Mae ni, authored by Kentaro Sasara, began serialization in Kodansha's Weekly Young Magazine in 2021. The series falls within the psychological thriller and supernatural mystery genres, centering on a man who gains the ability to travel back in time following a catastrophic terrorist attack carried out by his childhood friend. The third volume continues this high-stakes narrative, deepening the exploration of trauma and the moral complexities inherent in altering the past to prevent future violence.

The character designs and visual execution by Sasara are noted for their stark, often unsettling depiction of urban decay and emotional turmoil. The series is part of a broader wave of seinen manga that blends investigative suspense with dark speculative fiction, a style that resonates with readers interested in character-driven narratives that challenge traditional notions of heroism. Upon its release, the volume was received as a pivotal entry in the series, maintaining the tense atmosphere established in earlier chapters as the mystery of the protagonist's influence on the timeline unfolds.
