Where it came from
Kimi wo Wasureru Koi ga Shitai, or 'I Want to Fall in Love Without Remembering You,' is a manga series written and illustrated by mangaka Konkichi. Serialized in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shonen Magazine, the series explores the delicate emotional landscape of memory and romance, centered on the complex bond between its protagonists. The seventh volume continues the series' signature contemplative tone, focusing on the character-driven narrative development that defined the work's run.
The art style is characterized by expressive character designs and atmospheric paneling that emphasizes internal monologue and quiet, poignant interactions. As the series progressed toward its conclusion, volume seven was instrumental in addressing the central conflicts of the plot. It was received by readers as a pivotal installment that balanced the series' bittersweet themes with the evolving maturity of the lead characters, maintaining the visual consistency that established Konkichi as a notable voice in contemporary romance manga.
