Kirakira no Kowashikata #1

Kirakira no Kowashikata, translated as How to Break the Sparkle, is a manga series created by the artist known as Anmi. First serialized in the mid-2010s, the work emerged within the niche but dedicated landscape of Japanese seinen manga. The series was designed to explore themes of identity and perception, utilizing a distinct, delicate art style that often contrasts with the complex emotional interiority of its characters.

The first volume established the series' reputation for balancing visual appeal with narrative depth, capturing the attention of readers interested in character-driven psychological dramas. Anmi's approach was characterized by meticulous line work and a focus on subtle facial expressions, which served to ground the story's more abstract conceptual elements. Upon its release, it was well-received by fans of character-focused storytelling for its ability to maintain a reflective, atmospheric tone throughout the inaugural volume.
