Koi wa Sora Kara Futtekuru #2

Koi wa Sora Kara Futtekuru, written and illustrated by mangaka Ryo Ikuemi, was serialized in the monthly magazine Chorus during the early 2000s. The series is part of Ikuemi's body of work centered on josei manga, specifically focusing on the intricacies of mature relationships and the quiet, often melancholy emotional transitions that define adult life. This second volume continues the series' exploration of complex romantic dynamics, maintaining the author's signature minimalist art style and contemplative narrative pacing.

Ryo Ikuemi is widely regarded for her ability to capture the nuance of interpersonal friction, a trait that earned this series a dedicated following among readers of realistic, character-driven fiction. The design of the volume reflects the standard aesthetic of Shueisha's Chorus label, prioritizing understated cover art that emphasizes the moody, introspective tone of the story. Upon its release, the volume was noted for its departure from more stylized or heightened tropes, grounding its reception in the appreciation for the author's authentic depiction of contemporary urban life.
