Konyakusha ni Wasurerareta Watashi Ringoku no Kōtaishi Denka to Gisō Konyaku Suru Koto ni Narimashita (※Tadashi, Denka no Honmei wa Watashi Mitai Desu!?) #2

This volume is part of a light novel series that emerged from the popular Japanese web novel scene on platforms like Shōsetsuka ni Narō. The series, written by author Amamiya and illustrated by artist Eiri Iwamoto, follows the trend of romantic fantasy stories featuring arranged marriages and political intrigue. It was published in print format to cater to readers of the 'villainess' or 'misunderstood heroine' subgenre, which focuses on female protagonists navigating social displacement and unexpected romantic developments within aristocratic settings.

The character designs and illustrations provided by Eiri Iwamoto were created to evoke the classic aesthetic of shōjo-inspired light novels, utilizing soft, expressive features to differentiate the central couple. The series was developed as a direct response to the market's demand for lighthearted, trope-driven fantasy romances. Upon its release, it found a steady audience among readers who enjoy serialized web-to-print narratives characterized by misunderstandings, courtly settings, and comedic subtext regarding the protagonist's perceived social status.
