La Zorra y el Cuervo #110

La Zorra y el Cuervo was a prominent Cuban comic book series centered on the classic fables of a fox and a crow, adapted for a local audience. Issue #110 reflects the series' commitment to blending educational themes with satirical humor, which became a staple of Cuban children's literature during the mid-twentieth century. These comics were widely distributed across the island, serving as a primary source of entertainment for several generations of readers.

The visual language of the series relied on expressive, caricature-style illustrations that prioritized clear narrative flow over complex aesthetics. Artists working within the series were tasked with navigating the evolving socio-political landscape of post-revolutionary Cuba, often imbuing the characters with subtle social commentary. The reception was largely positive, as the series successfully bridged the gap between traditional folkloric storytelling and the contemporary cultural identity of the Cuban public.
