La Zorra y el Cuervo #193

La Zorra y el Cuervo was a seminal Cuban comic book series that rose to prominence in the mid-1960s, emerging as a staple of the nation's popular culture. Developed under the editorial guidance of the state-run publishing house Editorial Juvenil, the series centered on the antics of a cunning fox and a dim-witted crow. The publication was designed to provide accessible, episodic entertainment for Cuban youth, blending classic fable archetypes with a distinctly local sense of humor that resonated across generations.

The character designs and visual storytelling were heavily influenced by the aesthetic traditions of the Eastern Bloc animation style, characterized by clean lines and expressive character work. Issue 193 arrived during the height of the series' longevity, a period when the title had solidified its place as a recognized cultural institution. While the creators remained largely anonymous within the collective creative framework of the studio, the series was received with widespread affection, functioning as a recurring touchstone in the landscape of Cuban illustrated media.
