La Zorra y el Cuervo #63

La Zorra y el Cuervo was a prominent Cuban comic magazine, published by Editorial Pablo de la Torriente Brau, that served as a staple of national humor and satire for several decades. The series focused on the antics of a fox and a crow, archetypal characters used to provide social commentary and lighthearted critique of contemporary life, often mirroring the style of classic fables while grounding the stories in the daily reality of the Cuban experience.

Issue number 63 reflects the magazine’s characteristic artistic evolution, featuring illustrations that blended traditional caricature with the punchy, graphic sensibilities common in mid-to-late 20th-century Latin American serials. These issues were intended to be accessible to a wide audience, balancing whimsical storytelling with clever wit, and remain highly regarded today as vital cultural artifacts that capture the specific humor and illustrative talents that defined the era's print media landscape.
