La Zorra y el Cuervo #71

La Zorra y el Cuervo was a prominent Cuban comic magazine, published by Editorial Pablo de la Torriente starting in the 1980s. It became a staple of children's literature in Cuba, featuring a recurring cast of anthropomorphic animals—most notably the titular fox and crow—engaged in humorous and often satirical adventures. Issue number 71 reflects the publication's established style, which blended traditional fable-like storytelling with vibrant, accessible illustrations designed to appeal to a broad young audience during a period when domestic print media was the primary source of entertainment for Cuban youth.

The creative direction of the series was defined by a collective of Cuban illustrators and writers who emphasized whimsical character design and distinctively bold, colorful aesthetic choices typical of the era's socialist-realist and cartooning traditions. The series was well-received for its consistent tone and contribution to the local canon of comic arts, serving as both a narrative vehicle for moral tales and a beloved cultural touchstone that maintained steady popularity among generations of readers throughout its long-running publication cycle.
