Les 100 Petites Amies Qui T'Aiiiment à en Mourir #15

Les 100 Petites Amies Qui T'Aiment à en Mourir is the French localization of the long-running Japanese manga series 100 Kanojo, created by writer Rikito Nakamura and illustrator Yukiko Nozawa. First serialized in 2020, the series emerged from the popular harem comedy genre, subverting standard tropes by positioning its protagonist in a committed, polygamous relationship with one hundred soulmates. The French edition serves to bring this high-concept, self-aware satire to Francophone readers, maintaining the frenetic energy and intricate character designs that define the original work.

The design of the series centers on Nozawa's expressive, detail-oriented character art, which aims to differentiate a rapidly expanding cast of personalities through distinct visual motifs and comedic reactions. Upon its release in Japan and subsequent international translation, the series was received as a refreshing, albeit chaotic, take on romance tropes. Its success lies in the balance between slapstick humor and the earnest emotional development of the harem, a dynamic that remains consistent as the series progresses through its numerous volumes.
