Lili-Men #13

Lili-Men #13 is a installment in the long-running French comic series Lili-Men, which emerged from the prolific landscape of European pocket-sized comics during the mid-20th century. These publications were designed for mass consumption, often sold in kiosks and small bookshops, providing readers with escapist, serialized adventures that blended elements of pulp fiction, mystery, and lighthearted intrigue.

The series is characterized by its distinct aesthetic, which follows the conventions of the 'fumetti' or pocket-book style popular in France at the time. While the series relied on a rotating team of illustrators and writers typical of the era's publisher-driven model, the art focuses on high-contrast black-and-white compositions and dynamic character-driven narratives, reflecting the creative trends of post-war European popular culture.
