Lili-Men #4

Lili-Men was a French comic series published in the late 1960s by Éditions de l'Occident, primarily recognized for its association with the 'photo-roman' and pulp adventure styles popular in European newsstand literature of the era. The series followed the exploits of a group of female protagonists in a fast-paced, episodic narrative, reflecting the shifting social attitudes toward women in action-oriented roles during that decade.

The visual identity of the series leaned heavily into the aesthetic conventions of 1960s pop culture, often utilizing stylized cover art that emphasized dynamic poses and vibrant, sometimes surreal, color palettes. These issues were intended for a general audience seeking accessible, affordable entertainment and are now primarily sought by collectors of vintage French pulp comics interested in the graphic design trends and publishing history of the period.
