Little Nightmares: Descent to Nowhere #4

Little Nightmares: Descent to Nowhere #4 serves as the concluding chapter of the digital comic series released by Bandai Namco to bridge the narrative gap between the original Little Nightmares video game and its 2021 sequel. Published in 2021, these comics were designed to expand upon the unsettling, surreal atmosphere of the franchise's world, the Maw, while providing players with deeper context regarding the psychological trauma and environmental storytelling central to the series.

The series features creative contributions from Dan Watters, who penned the scripts, and Andrea Izzo, who provided the haunting illustrations. The aesthetic goal was to maintain the dark, whimsical, and grotesque art style established by the game developers, Tarsier Studios, focusing on themes of isolation and corruption. Upon its release, the series was received by fans of the survival horror genre as a canonical expansion that effectively captured the unsettling visual language of the source material.
