Logan: Black, White & Blood #4

Logan: Black, White & Blood #4 was published by Marvel Comics in 2021 as the concluding chapter of a limited anthology series. The series was designed to showcase Wolverine's history through a restricted color palette of black, white, and red, a stylistic choice intended to emphasize the visceral nature of the character's combat and his long, often violent life. This creative constraint allowed various writers and artists to experiment with high-contrast noir aesthetics and focus on the raw intensity of the protagonist.

This specific issue features contributions from creators including Vita Ayala, Greg Land, and others, who explored disparate facets of Logan’s identity. The series was received as a stylistic homage to classic pulp storytelling and high-contrast comic art traditions. By utilizing only three colors, the creators aimed to evoke a sense of timelessness while maintaining the gritty, blood-soaked tone synonymous with the character’s legacy in the Marvel Universe.
