Lv1 Maō to One-Room Yūsha #10

Lv1 Maō to One-Room Yūsha, authored and illustrated by toufu, began its serialization in 2019 on the Niconico Seiga website before being published in physical volumes by Houbunsha. The series explores a comedic, subverted fantasy trope where a defeated Demon Lord returns years later in a chibi form to find the legendary hero living as a disheveled shut-in, reflecting the author's interest in character-driven humor and the contrast between epic scale and mundane modern life.

The tenth volume continues the series' signature blend of slapstick comedy and character development, maintaining the distinct visual style that earned it an anime adaptation. Toufu is noted for a clean, expressive art style that emphasizes the physical comedy of the Demon Lord's tiny stature and the protagonist's reluctance to engage with his past glory, a dynamic that has resonated well with readers of the seinen demographic.
