Lustiges Taschenbuch Young Comics #21

Lustiges Taschenbuch Young Comics is a long-running German-language Disney comics series published by Egmont Ehapa Media. It emerged from the tradition of the parent Lustiges Taschenbuch line, specifically targeting a younger audience with shorter, more contemporary-feeling stories that often feature Mickey Mouse and his friends in modern or high-energy settings. Issue 21 reflects the established editorial focus of the series, which prioritizes accessible layouts and a blend of classic Italian and international Disney comic production.

The design and illustration of these comics generally rely on the established house style of Disney comics, predominantly utilizing scripts and art from contributors associated with the Egmont Disney studio. These collections were designed for durability and portability, fitting the 'pocket book' format that has defined the LTB brand since its inception in 1967. The series was received as a reliable entry point for younger readers in the German-speaking market, maintaining consistent thematic and visual standards while adhering to the long-standing character archetypes developed by Disney's creative teams.
