Marriage of Convenience #3

Marriage of Convenience #3 is part of a limited comic book series published in the early 1990s. This series emerged during a period of experimentation within independent comics, where creators sought to blend traditional narrative structures with themes of satire and social commentary. It reflects the aesthetic sensibilities of that era, characterized by sharp linework and a focus on character-driven dialogue that distinguishes it from the more mainstream superhero fare dominating the market at the time.

The creative team behind the series aimed to subvert genre expectations by placing its protagonists in increasingly complex and ironic domestic dilemmas. The visual storytelling was crafted to mirror the escalating absurdity of the script, utilizing unconventional layouts that were praised by contemporary critics for their deliberate pacing. While the series maintained a niche following, it is remembered for its distinct voice and its contribution to the varied landscape of independent comic publications in the pre-digital age.
