Oji-san to Marshmellow #4

Oji-san to Marshmellow began as a web manga series authored by the creator under the pen name Rekomaru Otoi. Originally serialized on the social media platform Pixiv, the work gained significant traction for its lighthearted, comedic exploration of the unexpected romance between a middle-aged office worker with an intense affinity for marshmallows and his younger, determined female coworker.

The fourth volume of the compiled print edition reflects the aesthetic established in the series' transition from web-based panels to traditional tankōbon format. The design leans into a clean, character-focused presentation that highlights the series' hallmark blend of deadpan workplace humor and soft-edged charm. Upon its release, the volume served to sustain the momentum of the franchise, which eventually saw an adaptation into a short-form television anime series, cementing the titular character's niche popularity within the slice-of-life genre.
