Ojō-sama Tantei Alice to Shōnen Shitsuji Yukito no Jikenbo #1

Ojō-sama Tantei Alice to Shōnen Shitsuji Yukito no Jikenbo, known in English as The Case Files of Young Lady Detective Alice and Young Butler Yukito, is a mystery manga series written and illustrated by Mikan Uzuki. It was serialized in the shōjo magazine Nakayoshi, published by Kodansha, beginning in 2008. The narrative follows a wealthy young heiress named Alice and her devoted butler, Yukito, as they navigate various mysteries and comedic situations, embodying the popular shōjo tropes of the era involving affluent characters and domestic intrigue.

The series design is characteristic of late 2000s Nakayoshi titles, focusing on elegant character aesthetics and a blend of light-hearted humor with mild investigative elements. Mikan Uzuki’s art style prioritizes expressive character work, catering to an audience interested in the dynamic between an independent female lead and her diligent assistant. While it served as a standard entry in the magazine's mystery-romance lineup, it remains a notable example of the specific stylistic trends prevalent in Japanese girls' comics during that period.
