Ooya-san wa Shishunki! #20

Ooya-san wa Shishunki! is a long-running Japanese four-panel manga series by the artist Minatsu Futaba, which first began serialization in Houbunsha's Manga Time magazine in 2012. The series focuses on the everyday life of a young girl who acts as a landlady for her apartment complex, blending slice-of-life humor with themes of maturity and responsibility. Issue number 20 serves as a specific installment in this ongoing monthly serialization, capturing a moment in the characters' gentle evolution within the context of the Seinen manga genre.

The aesthetic of the series is defined by Futaba’s soft, approachable character designs and a minimalist panel structure suited for gag-a-day comedy. As the series progressed into its twentieth installment, the creative direction remained focused on the charming domestic dynamics between the landlady and her tenants. The work has been consistently received as a heartwarming, low-stakes narrative, eventually inspiring an anime adaptation that reinforced its reputation as a comforting staple of the Manga Time lineup.
