Overlord: Fushisha no Oh! #12

Overlord: Fushisha no Oh! is a manga adaptation of the popular light novel series written by Kugane Maruyama. The manga, illustrated by Hugin Miyama, began serialization in Kadokawa Shoten’s Comp Ace magazine in 2014. It follows the narrative of a player who remains logged into a virtual reality game as its servers shut down, eventually becoming the powerful lich Ainz Ooal Gown. The series was created to visualize the dark fantasy world of Yggdrasil, capturing the intricate character designs and the high-stakes political maneuvering that define the source material.

Issue #12 serves as a continuation of the manga's long-running adaptation, maintaining the visual style established by Miyama. The design focuses on translating the detailed descriptions from the light novels into a manga format, emphasizing the contrast between the protagonist's terrifying appearance and his calculated leadership style. Upon release, the series has been received as a foundational entry for fans of the franchise, serving as a primary visual companion to the light novels and the subsequent anime adaptation.
