Power Pack #33

Power Pack #33 was published by Marvel Comics in 1987 as part of a series created by Louise Simonson. The title focused on the adventures of the Power siblings, who were granted extraordinary abilities by an alien race known as the Kymellians. This particular issue emerged during a period when the series was increasingly praised for its grounded approach to childhood and family dynamics, distinguishing it from the more traditional superhero narratives of the era.

The issue features cover art and internal storytelling that reflect the title's hallmark blend of domestic life and cosmic stakes. Illustrators for the series during this tenure typically focused on expressive, approachable character designs that balanced the children's vulnerability with their burgeoning powers. While the series was often targeted at younger readers, it garnered a dedicated cult following for its consistent character development and its willingness to address complex themes through the perspective of its child protagonists.
