Rick and Morty Compendium #3

The Rick and Morty Compendium series, published by Oni Press, serves as an oversized trade paperback collection designed to house massive runs of the long-running comic book spin-off. These volumes were produced to satisfy the demand of fans seeking a comprehensive physical archive of the series, which began in 2015 as a companion to the Adult Swim animated program. The content within these collections captures the chaotic, genre-bending storytelling that defined the show's cult following, translating the frantic energy of Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland’s creation into the serialized medium of sequential art.

The design of these compendiums emphasizes utility and durability, utilizing thick spines to aggregate dozens of individual issues and supplemental short stories. The creative teams behind the included issues feature a rotating ensemble of writers and illustrators who maintain the aesthetic consistency of the source material while exploring the infinite possibilities of the multiverse. Reception among the fanbase has been largely positive, as the format provides an accessible entry point for new readers while acting as a convenient reference for established collectors of the franchise’s expanding bibliography.
