Saigo ni Hitotsu Dake Onegai Shite mo Yoroshii Deshou ka #10

Saigo ni Hitotsu Dake Onegai Shite mo Yoroshii Deshou ka, known in English as May I Ask for One Final Thing?, began as a popular web novel series on the Japanese platform Shōsetsuka ni Narō. Written by Suki Mura and illustrated by Ataru Cagalli, the story follows a determined protagonist who seeks retribution against her former fiancé, a prince who unjustly broke off their engagement. The series fits firmly within the 'villainess' subgenre of light novels and manga, which rose to prominence in the mid-2010s by subverting tropes common in romance fantasy and isekai narratives.

The physical serialization of the manga adaptation features character designs by Ataru Cagalli, whose sharp, expressive artwork captures the protagonist's fiery personality and decisive nature. Issue number 10, published under the Hakusensha imprint, reflects the ongoing development of the series as it transitioned from digital origins to a successful print manga run. The work has been noted by readers for its cathartic themes of justice and personal agency, establishing a loyal following that appreciates the series' departure from the passive heroines typically found in similar historical-fantasy settings.
