Savage Dragon #125

Savage Dragon #125 was published in 2006 by Image Comics as part of the long-running series created by Erik Larsen. This issue serves as a significant entry in the ongoing narrative of the Dragon, a super-powered police officer in Chicago, reflecting the creator-owned ethos of the Image movement. Larsen continued his role as both writer and artist for this issue, maintaining the distinctive, dynamic illustrative style that has defined the series since its 1992 debut.

The issue features the ongoing development of the Dragon's complex life, characterized by the visceral action and pulp-influenced storytelling that established the series as a mainstay in independent comics. Like much of the Savage Dragon run, the design and tone of the issue were intended to provide a high-energy experience while advancing long-term plot arcs, consistent with Larsen’s commitment to an evolving, serialized saga that remains largely unencumbered by the editorial constraints typical of larger publishing houses.
