Shénlì Qìyuēzhě M&Y #2

Shénlì Qìyuēzhě M&Y, translated as Divine Covenant M&Y, emerged during the late 2010s as part of a wave of Chinese youth-oriented graphic storytelling that blended traditional xianxia motifs with contemporary visual aesthetics. Issue number 2 serves as a pivotal installment in the series, continuing the narrative arc established in the debut by deepening the protagonist's involvement in the celestial conflicts central to the plot.

The series design is credited to the M&Y creative collective, who sought to modernize the visual language of regional fantasy comics by integrating sharper, more kinetic line work inspired by both manga and digital manhwa styles. Upon its release, the issue was noted for its departure from traditional panel layouts, focusing instead on atmospheric, full-bleed imagery that aimed to immerse readers in the world-building, and it was generally well-received by domestic audiences for its sophisticated color palettes.
