Shikimori es Más Que una Cara Bonita #16

Shikimori es Más Que una Cara Bonita, known in Japan as Kawaii dake ja Nai Shikimori-san, is a romantic comedy manga series created by Keigo Maki. First serialized in 2019 via the Magazine Pocket app, the series centers on the evolving relationship between the accident-prone Izumi and his girlfriend Shikimori, who possesses a notably cool and protective personality when defending him. The series gained significant traction for subverting traditional gender roles within the genre, leading to its widespread serialization and eventual anime adaptation.

The 16th volume serves as a late-stage entry in the series, reflecting the refined character designs and tonal consistency that Keigo Maki maintained throughout the work's run. As the story progresses toward its conclusion, this volume continues to balance lighthearted domestic scenarios with moments of emotional growth, a design philosophy that contributed to the series' reputation as a comforting and steady presence in the modern rom-com landscape. It was received favorably by fans for maintaining the core dynamic of the lead couple until the final chapters.
