Shinsōban - Kidō Senshi Gundam: Gyakushū no Char - Beyond the Time #2

The Shinsōban edition of Kidō Senshi Gundam: Gyakushū no Char - Beyond the Time serves as a literary adaptation of the 1988 theatrical film, Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack. Released to provide a refined, accessible format for fans, these volumes consolidate the narrative of the final confrontation between Amuro Ray and Char Aznable. The design focuses on high-quality printing and aesthetic cohesion, intended to elevate the manga adaptation as a collectible staple within the extensive Gundam franchise library.

This edition captures the dramatic gravity of the original film, which was directed by Yoshiyuki Tomino. The artistic direction remains faithful to the mechanical designs and character portrayals established by the film's production team. While the manga format allows for a pacing distinct from the cinema experience, it is widely received as an essential companion piece for enthusiasts interested in the nuance of the Universal Century timeline and the ideological clash between the two central protagonists.
