Shitsuren Shita Node Vtuber Hajimetara Toshiue no Onee-san ni Motemashita #7

Shitsuren Shita Node Vtuber Hajimetara Toshiue no Onee-san ni Motemashita, often referred to by the abbreviation 'ShitsureVtuber', is a Japanese light novel series written by Kumanano and illustrated by Fal Maro. The seventh volume continues the narrative arc of the protagonist, who begins a career as a VTuber following a painful romantic rejection, only to find himself unexpectedly pursued by an older woman in his real life. The series is published under the Sneaker Bunko label, a well-established imprint of Kadokawa Shoten that focuses on character-driven light novels.

The visual identity of the series is heavily defined by Fal Maro's character designs, which lean into the bright, expressive aesthetic characteristic of modern rom-com light novels. Volume seven was released to provide a mid-to-late series progression in the evolving relationship between the main characters. Like much of its genre, the series relies on the contrast between the digital persona of the VTuber and the grounded, often awkward reality of the protagonist's romantic life, a theme that has resonated with readers seeking lighthearted, contemporary relationship fiction.
