Slingers #3

Slingers was launched by Marvel Comics in 1998 as part of the Heroes Reborn aftermath, spinning out of the Slingers miniseries concept. The series was designed to explore the legacy of the four distinct identities—Ricochet, Hornet, Prodigy, and Dusk—that Spider-Man had briefly adopted during the Identity Crisis storyline. Writers Joseph Harris and Tom DeFalco aimed to develop these characters into a standalone team of young heroes, attempting to recapture a sense of youthful, earnest superhero adventure amidst a landscape of grittier 1990s comic tropes.
