Soshite, Mina ni Natta. #1

Soshite, Mina ni Natta. is a notable doujin work created by the circle Circle 202. First appearing in the Japanese independent publishing circuit, the title emerged during a period of burgeoning interest in experimental psychological narratives within the fan-made manga community. The work is characterized by its distinct aesthetic, which balances surrealist imagery with a somber, character-driven tone intended to challenge the reader's perception of the protagonists.

The illustrations were handled by the primary contributors of Circle 202, who aimed to evoke a sense of uncanny isolation through minimalist paneling and high-contrast ink work. Upon its release, the issue was received with measured critical curiosity by doujin enthusiasts, often cited for its departure from traditional genre tropes. It remains a representative example of early 2000s self-published manga that prioritized thematic depth over mainstream narrative accessibility.
