Star Wars: Jedi - Upadły Zakon #1

Star Wars: Jedi - Fallen Order - Dark Temple #1, published by Marvel Comics in 2019, serves as a prequel miniseries to the video game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The narrative was written by Matthew Rosenberg and illustrated by Paolo Villanelli, crafted to bridge the storytelling gap between the fall of the Jedi Order and the events players encounter in the game. It specifically explores the history of the Jedi Cere Junda and her master, Eno Cordova, providing critical context for the game's central themes of survival and the legacy of the Force.

The creative team aimed to maintain the aesthetic and tonal consistency of the Star Wars galaxy while introducing new, smaller-scale narratives that complemented the digital medium of the game. The series was met with positive reception from fans and critics, who appreciated its role in fleshing out the backstory of key game characters and expanding upon the lore of the Jedi Order during a tumultuous era of transition. Its release was timed to coincide with the broader promotional efforts for the game's launch, solidifying its place as an integral piece of the modern Star Wars expanded universe canon.
