Star Wars: La bataille de jakku #2

Star Wars: Battle of Jakku - Insurgency #2 is part of a canonical comic book miniseries published by Marvel Comics in 2024. This narrative bridge was conceived to detail the immediate aftermath of the Battle of Endor, specifically focusing on the power vacuum and escalating conflict on the desert planet Jakku following the fall of the Empire. The series serves as a critical expansion of the New Republic era, layering narrative context onto the events that eventually lead to the desert wasteland seen in The Force Awakens.

The creative direction for this series aims to capture the gritty, high-stakes transition from the Galactic Civil War to the rise of the First Order, utilizing a kinetic visual style that prioritizes atmospheric tension. The creative team leaned into the established aesthetic of the Sequel Trilogy, aiming to ground the story in a period of intense instability. It was received by fans as a welcome exploration of a previously underserved gap in the Star Wars timeline, praised for its commitment to connecting disparate narrative threads across the franchise's expanded lore.
