Takane no Hana-san #13

Takane no Hana-san, authored by Kotoba Inouya, began its serialization in 2018 as a romantic comedy manga centered on Hana Takane, a brilliant and highly respected office worker who maintains a flawless professional reputation despite her secret, clumsy infatuation with a junior employee. The series emerged from a growing trend in modern workplace comedies that highlight the disconnect between public personas and private emotional vulnerabilities, utilizing sharp character contrasts to drive its narrative.

The character design and overall aesthetic lean into the tropes of contemporary shonen and seinen rom-coms, emphasizing expressive facial reactions and office-life realism. The thirteenth volume continues the established serialization rhythm, furthering the development of the leads' complex dynamic. It was received as a standard entry in the series, maintaining the artistic direction and comedic pacing that fans of Inouya’s work have come to expect as the storyline approaches its later chapters.
