Teen Titans #15

Teen Titans #15, published by DC Comics in 1968, serves as a significant entry in the original Silver Age run of the series. During this era, the title focused on the adolescent sidekicks of major Justice League members navigating interpersonal conflicts and the social pressures of the late 1960s. This specific issue arrived during a period of creative transition for the franchise as it attempted to balance superhero tropes with the emerging sensibilities of its youth-oriented readership.

The issue features work from the creative team of writer Bob Haney and artist Nick Cardy. Cardy’s illustrative style, noted for its kinetic energy and clear, expressive character work, defined the visual identity of the Teen Titans during their formative years. While the series was often overshadowed by heavier mainstream titles at the time, this issue is recognized by collectors for its contribution to the evolving DC canon and the mid-century aesthetic that Cardy brought to the ensemble.
