Where it came from
Tensei Shitara Dai Nana Ōji Datta no de, Kimama ni Majutsu wo Kiwamemasu, known in English as I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability, began as a light novel series authored by Kenkyo na Circle before being adapted into a manga illustrated by Yosuke Kokuzawa. The manga series is serialized in Kodansha's Magazine Pocket platform, where it has gained popularity for its high-energy depictions of magical combat and the protagonist's eccentric dedication to his arcane studies.
Issue #23 of the manga adaptation continues the narrative arc following Prince Lloyd de Saloum, a character whose past life memories drive his relentless pursuit of magical mastery. Yosuke Kokuzawa’s illustration style is noted for its expressive character designs and detailed action sequences, which are specifically crafted to capture the whimsical yet intense tone established in the original light novels. The series maintains a consistent visual identity that reflects the lighthearted nature of the fantasy-isekai genre.
