The Amazing Spider-Man #332

The Amazing Spider-Man #332, published in May 1990, stands as a notable entry in the 'Cosmic Spider-Man' saga. During this period, Marvel Comics experimented with granting the protagonist immense, reality-warping powers from the Enigma Force, allowing him to contend with threats on a galactic scale. The story was written by David Michelinie, who served as a primary architect for Spider-Man's narrative direction throughout the late 1980s and early 1990s.

The interior artwork was provided by Erik Larsen, whose dynamic, bold style helped define the look of the character during the transition between the eras of Todd McFarlane and later creators. The cover, illustrated by Larsen, features a striking depiction of Spider-Man in his cosmic iteration facing off against the Hulk, reflecting the high-stakes, action-oriented editorial philosophy of the time. While the arc was largely received as a fun, self-contained diversion from street-level narratives, it remains a distinct highlight for collectors interested in the shifting aesthetics of the Bronze and Copper Ages.
