The Amazing Spider-Man #345

The Amazing Spider-Man #345 was published by Marvel Comics in March 1991, during a period defined by significant creative shifts in the Spider-Man franchise. As part of the title's long-running publication history, this issue fits into the era overseen by writer David Michelinie, who was instrumental in shaping the character's supporting cast and tone throughout the late 1980s and early 1990s.

The cover and interior art feature the work of Erik Larsen, whose dynamic, blocky style became synonymous with this era of the series. Larsen’s approach provided a gritty, high-energy aesthetic that was well-received by fans at the time, reflecting the broader stylistic transitions happening at Marvel. This specific issue is recognized by collectors as a mid-run installment that maintains the established narrative trajectory of the title, focusing on character-driven plot threads common to Michelinie’s multi-year tenure.
