The Invisibles, Volume Two #10

The Invisibles, Volume Two #10 was published in 1998 by DC Comics under their Vertigo imprint. Written by Grant Morrison and featuring interior art by Philip Bond, this issue is a pivotal entry in a series known for its dense exploration of occultism, counter-culture philosophy, and the perceived nature of reality. It emerged during a period in the late 1990s when Morrison was pushing the boundaries of traditional superhero narrative structures to incorporate psychedelic and anarchic themes.

The visual identity of this issue, as with the rest of the series, is deeply tied to the stylistic shifts intended to mirror the protagonist's fragmented perception of the world. Philip Bond's contribution to this specific volume helped maintain the series' signature aesthetic of gritty, grounded character work contrasted with metaphysical abstraction. Upon release, the series garnered a dedicated cult following, often analyzed as much for its literary and philosophical aspirations as for its standing within the broader landscape of late-20th-century independent comics.
