The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse #17

Four Knights of the Apocalypse is the sequel to Nakaba Suzuki's globally successful fantasy manga, The Seven Deadly Sins. Issue 17 continues the expansion of the Arthurian-inspired narrative, focusing on the journey of the protagonist Percival as he navigates a world shaped by the fallout of the original series. The transition from the high-stakes battles of the first series to this new generation reflects Suzuki's desire to maintain the energetic, Shonen-style adventure that characterized his earlier work while introducing a darker, more myth-driven atmosphere.

The design and artistic direction of the series remain consistent with Suzuki’s established visual language, utilizing dynamic character silhouettes and intricate, weapon-centric action sequences. The issue follows the standard serialization format of Weekly Shonen Magazine, where it has been received by readers as a pivotal chapter that bridges the gap between traditional fantasy tropes and the evolving threats within the kingdom of Britannia. As a relatively recent installment in the ongoing monthly collected tankobon releases, it represents the progression of a long-standing creative legacy.
