Titanic Reeks #4

Titanic Reeks was an underground comic book series published in the early 1990s, emerging from the irreverent and often transgressive independent comix scene. The series sought to parody the popular culture fixation on the Titanic disaster, utilizing dark, hyperbolic humor and gritty, amateur-style illustration to subvert the romanticized historical narrative surrounding the ship.

The fourth issue continued the series' signature approach of blending historical morbid curiosity with absurd, satirical storytelling. Produced during a period when indie creators frequently challenged mainstream editorial standards, the publication was intended for a niche audience of underground collectors who favored counter-cultural critiques over traditional comic narratives. It remains a minor, idiosyncratic artifact of the era's small-press creative spirit.
