Total THB #2

Total THB was a short-lived fanzine project that emerged from the underground electronic music and rave culture scenes of the 1990s. This publication served as a grassroots communication hub for enthusiasts of the burgeoning Hardcore and Gabber subgenres, offering track reviews, event listings, and interviews with producers who were operating largely outside of mainstream media coverage.

The design of the issue utilized the gritty, DIY aesthetic typical of zines from this period, characterized by high-contrast photocopied layouts, collage-style typography, and raw imagery. It was produced by passionate community members who sought to document the evolution of the sound and the communal experience of the dance floor, and while it achieved only a niche circulation, it is regarded by archivists as a vital primary source for understanding the aesthetic and social values of the era's electronic underground.
