Ultimate Marvel Team-Up #10

Ultimate Marvel Team-Up #10, released in early 2002, was part of an ambitious initiative by Marvel Comics to modernize their core stable of characters for a new generation of readers. Published during the early years of the Ultimate imprint, the series focused on pairing Spider-Man with various icons of the Marvel Universe. This specific issue features a significant crossover between Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four, bridging the gap between separate ongoing titles within the reimagined continuity.

The issue was written by Brian Michael Bendis, who was instrumental in shaping the Ultimate Marvel identity, and features interior art by John Totleben. The series was designed to be accessible and cinematic, emphasizing grounded character interactions over the convoluted continuity of the main Marvel line. While the series was often praised for its distinct visual style and fresh take on classic dynamics, the experimental nature of the rotating art teams sometimes led to mixed critical reception regarding the visual consistency of the stories.
