V-dolive! #2

V-dolive! is a Japanese magazine publication that emerged from the rapidly growing intersection of virtual YouTubers, or VTubers, and mainstream media culture. The series serves as a specialized archive and guide for the evolving landscape of digital avatars, providing fans with interviews, lore deep-dives, and technical spotlights on the creators behind the characters. The publication functions as both a celebration of the medium's creative ingenuity and a structured record of an industry that historically exists almost entirely in ephemeral online spaces.

Issue #2 continues the editorial mission of establishing a print legacy for digital performance art. The design team focuses on high-fidelity graphic layouts that mirror the aesthetic of livestream production, utilizing vibrant, character-centric spreads that prioritize visual clarity and reader engagement. Upon its release, the issue was received as a significant resource for enthusiasts, marking a period where niche digital fandoms sought physical artifacts to authenticate their engagement with the virtual ecosystem.
