Valkyrie Apocalypse #11

Valkyrie Apocalypse, known in Japan as Record of Ragnarok, first debuted in the Monthly Comic Zenon magazine in late 2017. The series was authored by Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui, with illustrations by Ajichika. It centers on a high-stakes tournament where humanity's greatest historical figures battle gods to determine the survival of mankind, a concept that quickly garnered a dedicated following for its stylized, aggressive combat art and creative reinterpretation of mythological and historical personas.

Issue number 11 represents a chapter within the ongoing tournament arc, continuing the trend of elaborate character designs and intense, panel-heavy action sequences that define Ajichika’s visual style. The series is produced under the Coamix publishing label and reflects the modern shonen-seinen blend that emphasizes dramatic stakes and visually dense choreography. Its design choices focus on exaggerated features and armor detailing to heighten the sense of spectacle that has become the hallmark of the series' reception among international manga readers.
