Valor #14

Valor #14 was published by Valiant Comics in 1993 during the company's peak era of the early nineties. As part of the publisher's expansive shared universe, the series followed the cosmic adventures of its titular protagonist, a character established to navigate the complex interstellar politics and heroic tropes of the Valiant imprint. The title served as a bridge between the more grounded superhero narratives of the publisher and its grander, space-faring mythologies.

The creative direction for the series prioritized a blend of high-concept science fiction and the visceral artistic style common to independent comics of the period. The editorial team sought to expand the scope of the Valiant universe by introducing new extraterrestrial factions and moral dilemmas. While individual issues like number fourteen are often sought by completist collectors of the nineties era, the series remains a representative artifact of Valiant's ambitious efforts to maintain a distinct, self-contained continuity separate from the industry giants.
