Valor #12

Valor #12 was published by Valiant Comics in 1993 as part of the company's ambitious shared superhero universe. The series was designed to explore the cosmic and mythological frontiers of the Valiant line, focusing on the character Zephyr and her associates in a narrative space often defined by high-concept science fiction and internal company continuity. It arrived during a period of significant growth for the independent publisher, aiming to distinguish itself from the dominant output of the industry's primary two houses.

The creative direction for the series prioritized a polished, modern aesthetic that aligned with the house style established by editors like Jim Shooter. By the time issue #12 was released, the title was navigating the conclusion of its core story arcs, serving as a platform for artists to showcase intricate character designs and dynamic panel layouts. While the series eventually concluded as the publisher shifted focus toward other flagship titles, it remains a notable entry in the 'Valiant Universe' era, valued by collectors for its role in expanding the lore of the publisher’s original superhero pantheon.
