Watashi no Hatsukoi wa Hazuka Shisugite Darenimo Ienai #1

Watashi no Hatsukoi wa Hazuka Shisugite Darenimo Ienai, translated as My First Love is Too Embarrassing to Tell Anyone, originated as a manga series written and illustrated by mangaka Kyoko Kumagai. First serialized in the monthly shojo manga magazine Sho-Comi, the series fits squarely into the genre of youthful, high-stakes romantic drama that the publication is known for, aiming to capture the vulnerability and intensity of adolescent emotional discovery.

The character designs and narrative tone reflect Kumagai’s established style, which often emphasizes expressive character interactions and a polished, aestheticized visual approach typical of modern shojo manga. Upon its debut, the series resonated with readers interested in the complexities of early romantic attachments, building a dedicated following through its focus on the internal conflicts that often accompany one's first serious relationship.
