Wonder Woman #15

Wonder Woman #15 was published in late 1945 by DC Comics, appearing during the Golden Age of comic books. This era was defined by the transition of the character from a wartime mascot into a staple of American myth-making, with the creative direction still heavily influenced by the psychological theories and narrative vision of creator William Moulton Marston, who worked closely with artist Harry G. Peter to establish the series' unique visual identity.

Harry G. Peter, a former editorial cartoonist, provided the distinct, somewhat archaic illustrative style that defined the early Wonder Woman run. His work, characterized by thick lines and a flat, utilitarian aesthetic, prioritized narrative clarity and the symbolic strength of the characters over the more polished, superhero-centric art styles appearing in competing titles at the time. The issue reflects the ongoing effort to balance the character's role as a warrior of peace with the imaginative, often surreal world-building of Paradise Island.
